Cheers Bar & Bistro is a neighborhood bar and bistro in Montrose. Servers keep tables moving through service, from taking orders to delivering food and drinks, at 3900 Medina Rd, Ste J, Akron, OH 44333.

About Cheers: Cheers — a local Restaurant / Sports Bar serving Akron.

What you'll do:

• Greet guests and provide friendly, attentive service
• Take food and beverage orders accurately
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
• Demonstrate menu knowledge and make recommendations to guests
• Ensure food and drinks are delivered promptly and accurately
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining room
• Process payments and handle cash/credit transactions

What you'll need:

• Previous serving or bartending experience preferred but not required
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
• Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry items throughout a shift
• Must meet Ohio requirements for serving alcohol
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Nice to have:

• Comfortable using a POS system
• Strong communication skills

Schedule: Full-time and part-time shifts, including nights, weekends, and early mornings.

Pay: $5.50 per hour plus tips. For employees covered by the Ohio minimum wage of $11.00/hr (2026), base pay plus tips must meet that minimum for all hours worked; the employer must make up any shortfall.
